WE WILL BE BACK IN 2026

Our festival provides opportunities for the local community to enjoy quality music making, both as an audience and as performers. We will be returning with a full programme in summer 2026, spanning classical, choral, and Jazz music including a wide range of popular local groups, virtuosos and internationally renowned artists.

Our Festival has a wonderful home in Sedbergh's delightful and ancient St Andrew's Church, where the majority of events are staged. In 2024 we began using some of Sedbergh School's facilities, to give us a wider range of capacity, ambiance and acoustics for selected events. These included the Chapel, Powell Hall, Thornely Studio and The Hirst Centre. Our thanks go to Sedbergh School for allowing their use. This will continue in 2026.

Our aim is always to provide a venue for high quality music to be enjoyed in our quiet rural community. Anybody who attended the Jess Gillam and Royal Northern Sinfonia Concert in 2024 on a lovely summer evening will know there isn’t anywhere better to enjoy great music.

Care is always taken to be as accessible and inclusive as possible. Workshops for local schools, community choirs and free concerts for children will continue to ensure the widest participation and engagement.

For many of the lunchtime performances in St Andrews Church light lunches will be available from 12 noon in St Andrew's Church. Delicious and unmissable!
